New Operations Director - Jon Thornton
Ashton Seals are delighted to announce the appointment of Jon Thornton to the position of Operations Director.
In this role Jon will be responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure is in place to support the companies ambitious growth strategy.
He first began his career at Ashtons in 1984 in a combined Sales & Purchasing role, a position he held until leaving the company for a brief time in 1990, quickly returning in 1991 as Sales Office Manager. Jon remained in this position for a further 4 years before taking the opportunity to become a Senior Manager at a leading Lubrication Specialist.
Returning to Ashtons for the third time in 2005, initially as Lubrication Sales Specialist his role rapidly expanded as he became increasingly involved in the day-to-day operations of the business resulting in his promotion in 2006 to General Manager and his recent appointment to Director level.
