Anti-Vibration
The Ashton Seals' range of Anti-Vibration products has been designed to work over a wide range of machinery and meet the highest standards of quality. We supply machine mounts and shock absorbers in a variety of materials to suit individual needs.
DAMPERS
Rubber Dampers
Rubber dampers are used in machinery to either damp internal vibrations or allow vibration but reduce the transmission outwards from the machine. The model and size for each individual application can be determined by several factors:
- Dimension Allowance
- Charge per element
- Fixing Type (male, female, mixed)
- Deflection (the greater deflection, the bigger the clamping)
Metalic Dampers
Similar applications to rubber dampers but more suited to low frequency vibrations and large amplitude movements.

LEVELLING MACHINE MOUNTS
The Ashton Seals' range of Anti-Vibration Machinery Mounts can be applied on all kinds of machines and have several advantages compared to floor fixing:
- Fast positioning and possibility of machine mobility
- Damping vibrations, shocks and strokes
- Leveling and adherence to the floor
The selection of the model and size will be determined by several factors such as:
- Dimension Allowance
- Charging per element
- Fixing Type (male, female, mixed)
- Deflection (the greater deflection, the bigger the clamping)
High Profile:
- 65 shore rubber
- Low to medium frequencies
- Suitable for uneven floors
- Wide range allows optimum selection for individual machines
- M-12 and M-16 mounts available with socket leveling system
|
 |
Low Profile
- 65 shore rubber
- Medium to high frequencies
- Can be fitted to wide range of machinery
- Suitable for level floors
- M-12 and M-16 mounts available with socket leveling system
- Available in stainless steel, A-2 quality (food, agricultural and chemical industries)
|
 |
Polyurethane Series
- 80 OR 90 shore Polyurethane (thermoplastic) and cast steel GGG-40
- High resistance to water, oil, low temperatures, abrasion and shocks
- Available with fixed or socket leveling systems
- Available in stainless steel, A-2 quality (food, agricultural and chemical industries)
- Suitable for heavy machinery and unfavorable conditions
|
 |
CAM Series
- 75 shore synthetic rubber
- Metallic bowl provides protection for the rubber base
- Provides long life and excellent stability
- Base absorbs both horizontal and vertical shocks
- Increased adherence to the floor
- Quick and easy installation
|
 |
Small Series
|
Small Mounts: Made in rubber 65-70 shore and Suitable for small machines that need to be levelled. We could add models 000 and 000B in the same family.
|
 |
Wedge Series
- Available in 2 sizes
- Manufactured from 65-70 shore rubber and 90 shore Polyurethane
- Provide perfect leveling
- Also suitable for heavy machinery
|
 |
NON-LEVELLING MACHINE MOUNTS
- Available in 45, 60 and 70 Shore
- Models available to suit most frequencies and weights
- Machine feet allow machinery to be easily moved
- Very easy to install and remove
- Wide range of applications covered by the different models
- Threads range from M-6 to M-24

Matting: Anti-Vibration and Antiskid Matting:
- Suitable for machines with continuous plane bases, where conventional mounts cannot be attached
- Available in rubber from 45 shore up to 70 shore, and in 90 shore Polyurethane
- Useful if leveling is not required
- Available in 2 formats: the antiskid model (ADS) and double antiskid model (ADD)
- Suction cups allow excellent grip, even for small loads
- Also suitable for machine operators as health and safety feature, i.e. damping vibrations to help protect knees etc
